BOARDMAN, Ohio — It's another night of cleanup after a line of severe weather across Northeast Ohio, particularly in Trumbull and Mahoning counties.

Heavy rain led to flash flooding on Sunday. Round two took place in Warren on Monday, with the rain so heavy that you could barely see the car in front of you. On Sunday, a couple of inches of rain left Boardman drenched.

"When I came to the store, I saw water gushing out the door," says Save A Lot owner Henry Nemenz. "It was up to my knees when I got out of the parking lot."

Nemenz says there were two to three inches of water inside the store at the Boardman Plaza.

Meanwhile, video captured by a patron at a Boardman restaurant revealed a funnel cloud that has now been confirmed as an EF-0 tornado by the National Weather Service. The 80 mile-per-hour winds ripped off the roof of "King Hookah's Cafe," leaving debris scattered throughout.

The National Weather Service reports that the tornado touched down near York Avenue, just east of California Avenue in Boardman. A telephone pole was slightly bent over to the north. The tornado then hit a small strip mall building, ripping off an awning from the building along with a small portion of the roof.

The tornado then headed north, causing minor limb tree damage and blowing a small wooden fence down before quickly lifting.

The NWS say the tornado was on the ground for approximately 125 yards and lasted less than one minute. Its maximum speed was 80 miles per hour.

The Boardman Township administrator is planning to ask the state of Ohio for help amid the flooding issues.
